We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. I think the group may find this article interesting:
https://nonprofitquarterly.org/five-elements-collective-leadership/
How do we become a "collective leadership" leader vs a traditional one?
Which of the five elements is out of your control? Which one is most difficult for you to do well?
How have you learned to earn the trust from others that you will do the right thing?
Another question: Is your organization ready for collective leadership?
Or, do they have team members that do not want to be leaders?
In some manner - we are all leaders whether we wish to be or not....

Does collective leadership work in organizations that have collective bargaining agreements or strict hierarchies as in first responders, military or orchestras?
Great question Don - I think "Leadership" is primarily about:
To answer your question from the perspective of the Authors and with bias towards what I think leadership is primarily about - I wonder for the examples you have cited:
Do they have:
How might collective leadership be improved by striving to also be intelligent? Please consider what Brainy Dose offered to the Community Segment.
Team,
Something to read to add to the conversation regarding Collective Leadership.
I hope you find it of value.
