What Are You Measuring?

A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

Hello, Georgia Learns Community!

As busy professionals, we often struggle to juggle work responsibilities with personal and family commitments, not mention our own well-being. Imagine having a single space where you can work efficiently, have your children cared for, (if applicable), enjoy healthy yet tasty meals, and stay fit—all without leaving the building. Essentially, the gift of time would be returned to you. This is the vision behind our innovative coworking space concept called Happen to Life Cowork.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this idea. Here are a few questions to get the discussion started:

  1. Would a coworking space with integrated childcare, healthy food options, and fitness services be something you’d use or recommend to others? Why or why not?
  2. What features or services do you think would be essential for such a space to succeed?
  3. What potential challenges or concerns do you foresee with this model?

Thank you for your time and feedback. I look forward to engaging with the community and learning from your perspectives!

Yvette Francis

Thank you, Paul, for sharing this information with the community! I'm very excited to connect with anyone interested in the topic on July 16. Happen to Life is an early-stage start-up with the sole purpose of helping people happen to life instead of the other way around—life happening to them. I highly encourage all members to join us; you will find value in the session regardless of your lifestyle. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hello,

I would like to ask about how "Happen to Life" is going. I am doing my speech on the spiritual aspect of things and I felt like "Happen to Life" would go well with my topic. I know "Happen to Life" is new but it mainly helps with mental and physical health. I would like to know more information about "Happen to Life," and what tests you did for this amazing project.

Thank you for your time,

Eleanor Lee

Thank you.

"Happen to Life" is an amazing project. You may have dialog with its founder by checking here - https://georgialearnsnow.ning.com/group/brenau-university/forum/top...

Looking forward to your speech.

Paul
