A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

The format of this session will be:
- I will explain what I wish to learn about - and why
- I will ask each of you why you attended - to learn? to teach? something else?
- I will then guide the session around what I am willing to learn from you
- At the conclusion of the session the group will decide when (if) to meet again. If we meet, someone else will lead the next session focused on what they wish to learn about and why.
Here is what I wish to learn about and why:
I am building a succession plan for Georgia LEARNS and/or iFive Alliances. Both are LLC's with me as the only employee. I wish to find a successor who in turn will find a successor. I am doing this because I wish to find out if what has been built has sustainable value without employees - 100% via alliances.
