Topic: GLN ReachOutAbout - Launch of HAAPE in Atlanta
Time: May 6, 2025 3:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89615141085?pwd=4hT2Q2ebTmhcJK9M6sYQEgNN4...

  • Meeting ID: 896 1514 1085
  • Passcode: 075111

Please join this session to have a conversation with Larry Rothman, Chairman/CEO of HAAPE.

HAAPE is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that fills a void for autistic adults after graduation when they no longer qualify to receive benefits from government agencies.

Georgia LEARNS is eager to help Larry connect with those in Georgia who share his interests and are willing to consider collaborating with him to expand their operations here.

ReachoutAbout Format

  1. Welcome and introductions
  2. Session A – 10 minutes – Larry will present his idea/interests
  3. Session B – 10 minutes – Open Q&A with the group focused on clarification from Larry
  4. Session C – 10 minutes - Larry is muted and off-camera as the group talks about what it thinks could be done to address his interests
  5. Session D – 10 Minutes – Larry returns and leads open conversation about next steps (potentially to include research, online discussion, and another (closure?) meeting.
