A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

John Marshall and Paul Terlemezian met at the Conscious Capitalism Atlanta Chapter event in January of 2024 and agreed to meet for 45 days as accountability partners. Of course - that was sufficient time to become friends - and we have. We meet almost every Monday and discuss how our work - individually and perhaps collaboratively some day might be enhanced as we deepen our understanding of what it means to be a "conscious" capitalist.
What other areas of focus might benefit from the adjective "conscious."
John's work focuses on HLPster and Paul's work focuses on Pluralism. Please contribute to the conversation by replying to this discussion and/or attending this session.

Thank you Paul for the opportunity to share ideas and learn from others.
In full disclosure, I have reworked my presentation and entitled it "Living a Conscious Capitalism Life as an Individual".
I am looking forward to meeting those who attend. If you are unable to attend, I'm happy to share my slide deck which is pretty self-explanatory.
Thank you, John
Excellent - the risks and benefits of a Georgia LEARNS session is that the leader (i.e., the learner) has the right (and perhaps the responsibility) to learn whatever they want - whenever they want - with authenticity, vulnerability, and curiosity!
