A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

What I wish to learn: What are the best practices related to Workforce Development?
Why I wish to learn this:
A proposal has been submitted on behalf of the Georgia LEARNS Community regarding a Workforce Development Initiative in Georgia.
If we win there will be a requirement to offer case studies of successful business services offered via Workforce Development Boards across the US. We will also be required to make recommendations for business services and resources.
We also wish our thinking to be informed by these additional Georgia LEARNS 2024 Sessions:
