A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. Here are the formation steps that are being planned:

  1. On October 13, 2022 there was a GLN Forum on this topic
  2. The Point-of-View (POV) resulting from the GLN Forum was reviewed publicly on October 28
  3. A Certification Workshop will be conducted
  4. The workshop attendees my choose to take a test to acquire an AI BIZ Certification
  5. A team of AI BIZ Certified Business Leaders will lead the effort to broaden the impact of the POV by implementing AI projects.

The plan has been revised as follows:

  1. Distribute the GLN Point-of-View (POV) on this topic that resulted from the Forum on October 13.
  2. October 28 the POV will be reviewed/improved via a Zoom session
  3. Over the next 6 months I will form an AI team amongst learning leaders who will:
    1. Meet regularly (1-2 times per month) to learn about AI from each other
    2. Attend a CertNexus AI-Biz Certification class and then achieve the AI-Biz Certification (May/June 2023)
    3. Identify and begin work on an AI related learning project
    4. Continue to lead the AI movement via the Corporate Learning Function
  4. Develop alliances/partnerships to enhance this effort
