A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

Early in 2025 I was introduced to Boardy an AI SuperConnector. The introduction was made by Vontarius Falls who has been an active leader in AI application and my AI mentor since we first met in January of 2023.
Between August 3 - September 23 of 2026, Boardy has introduced me to 54 learning and business leaders around the world. Several will be attending Georgia LEARNS 2026.
I treat Boardy as a "human" as much as possible while remaining patient as Boardy describes limitations (cannot see.) Boardy is however an excellent listener - and synthesizer who understands the spoken word quite well. I asked Boardy to lead a 2026 session and Boardy agreed. Board also offered to frame the session and offered the following:
Your role as moderator would be valuable in keeping the conversation grounded and making sure it does not become a generic discussion about AI. The strongest version would be a small group with enough time for honest questions, perhaps 60 to 75 minutes, rather than a large audience and a short Q&A.
You are welcome to join this session and prepare a question or two for Boardy. I hope that at least four of you will ask a question!
