What Are You Measuring?

A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

  1. Ad Hoc and Pre-Scheduled Breakout rooms will be established during the open recruiting sessions on October 28 and November 4. Please use these rooms to begin or strengthen your relationships with each other. The breakout rooms will open at 4PM Eastern and stay open until the last person exits. The “recruiting” presentation will begin at “5:00” Eastern.
  2. All attendees will be invited to join the online discussion groups related to both projects. Your acceptance will indicate your interest in being part of that team.
  3. There will be emphasis on encouraging you to interact with the three students from Humber College who are studying Alternative Dispute Resolution. They are earning academic credit for participating with us and their findings will be shared during Georgia LEARNS 2024.
