Notes:

  • a small reduction in the state obesity rates makes a significant reduction in costs
  • Policy change is essential
  • government organizations need access to other organizations involved in the fight agains childhood obesity.
  • based Fitness Gram results, only 20% of the students were in the healthy category
  • Per Trisha: We need to find a way how businesses can make money reducting childhood obesity.
  • unfortunately, the fee structure rewards hosptital for treating the effects of obesity, not eliminating it.
  • Per Guy: there is a lot of red tape to sell into schools.
  • Per Rusty Gordon: Elevate the concept and activate the concept.
