Some things to think about as we near our discussion on Thursday:
The definition of proof - noun: proof: evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement. syn: n. Evidence. demonstration, verification
The definition of unintended consequences: In the social sciences, unintended consequences are outcomes that are not the ones foreseen and intended by a purposeful action.
Is proof always a good thing to have? What are the intended consequences of proof and what might be the unintended consequences (positive and/or negative)?
Bring your own experiences with you to share with others.
NOTE: Kirkpatrick's model was established in the mid-1950s and ROI was added in the early 1990's. Why do we still struggle with what to do?
