Georgia LEARNS has been funded by iFive Alliances, by volunteer effort, in-kind donation and cash donations from Friends of Georgia LEARNS. Georgia LEARNS is a for profit entity that does not intend to make much direct profit - it expects its members to make profit or earn income. Georgia LEARNS does not have any employees and prefers to not benefit by using direct funding from government entities. We do not want to compete with other worthy causes that need to benefit from tax dollars. Our vision supports paying tax dollars as a result of the jobs and profits we enable.

Funds are used to:

1. Cover the costs of activities (usually for food and support materials)

2. Cover the costs of overhead (e.g. this website)

3. Provide direct donations to the nonprofits we are partnering with (Glenn Pelham, Georgia Shape, The Shepherd Center, The Global Village Project, Technology Association of Georgia)
