What Are You Measuring?

A lifetime ago, my training department colleagues and I were satisfied with training data. We cranked out the requested ILT programs plus the "flavor of the year" content, we kept a busy training schedule, and made sure the coffee was always the right temperature. When accused of not delivering effective training because the learners didn't perform as they were trained, we took refuge in our management support role and not ultimately responsible or accountable for LEARNING or productivity.…

Segment 6 (2021) - How the Old Idea can Accelerate the New Idea

One potential accelerator to an idea might be the idea that is already being implemented - the "Old Idea." With insight from The Daily Drucker (November 11) might we learn about "Divestment?"

I could not find a Milton Berle or Nipsey Russell clip that I was brave enough to link.

They have some "old" ideas about what was funny. Please try to find some clips via you-tube and let me know how we might leverage them? Are they counter-examples of what we wish to be? Are they inspiration for what we once were ...and what we might be again?
